Clinical Mind AI showcased at Chile’s Congreso Futuro 2026
As part of the Universidad de O’Higgins Innovation Fair, held within the broader program of Congreso Futuro 2026, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CEA) of the School of Health participated by presenting Clinical Mind AI, an AI-powered clinical simulation platform built on generative artificial intelligence and designed to support the development of clinical reasoning in the health sciences.
The initiative generated strong interest and was very well received by faculty, students, and members of the general public, who were able to see first-hand the platform’s potential for clinical training. As part of the experience, the team designed an interactive activity around a clinical case, allowing attendees to engage with a simulated patient, ask questions, request tests, and move through the diagnostic process, mirroring a real clinical encounter in a safe learning environment.
CEA’s participation in the fair helped highlight the School of Health’s educational innovation work and created space for dialogue on the responsible and pedagogically grounded use of artificial intelligence in higher education, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to high-impact training methods centered on active learning.
