Dr. Ignacio Gallegos from Chile presents at the JIS Summit 2025

During the XX Jornadas de Informática en Salud (JIS Summit 2025) (XX Health Informatics Conference) organized by the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires on October 7, 2025, Clinical Mind AI was presented, emphasizing its local adaptability and flexibility in its use and the construction of its cases, activities, and evaluations. The main features of the platform, its potential uses, and its current scope were presented, in addition to the philosophy behind it: the exercise of clinical reasoning in the context of simulations that challenge health students to engage in a cognitive process similar to the one they will face with real patients. In the context of this presentation, Dr. Eduardo Durante, Principal Investigator of Clinical Mind AI at Hospital Italiano, made interesting points about the medical curriculum and the current challenges of clinical training. In that context, he expressed that the local adoption of Clinical Mind AI will be a valuable contribution in preparing their students for clinical practice, contributing to a more integrated education.
