Main Functionalities
Simulated Patient Creation
Instructors can design virtual patients that reflect real-world clinical scenarios, customizing features such as age, chief complaint, symptoms, medical history, and communication style. AI support is available to assist with case creation, making it easier to build diverse and realistic simulations if and when instructors choose to use it.
Rubrics for Assessment
Built-in rubrics enable instructors to evaluate student performance during AI simulated patient interactions and open-ended questions. These rubrics promote consistent assessment and offer structured feedback aligned with your educational goals.
Clinical Case Activities
Simulated patients and rubrics can be combined into complete Clinical Case Activities, which may include patient interactions, follow-up questions, and additional learning resources. These activities can be assigned individually or as part of an OSCE.
Courses and Assignments
Instructors can group Clinical Case Activities into courses and assign them to students with configurable settings such as number of attempts, simulation time limits, and completion deadline.
